What is TennisMatrix.net?

The TennisMatrix.net Challenge Ladder was established to provide players of all abilities an opportunity to sharpen their tennis skills, build match play awareness, and meet new people along the way. Bennet Slusarz initiated the first Challenge Ladder format in 1996 at Live Oak Park in Manhattan Beach, California. Since its inception the Live Oak Park Ladder has grown to average over 70 participants 4 times per year: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. With both Tennis Ladder and Tennis Round-robin formats, TennisMatrix.net was created and enhanced to accommodate multiple tennis ladders from any location worldwide, and to serve as a grass-roots vehicle to build the great game of tennis!

How TennisMatrix.net Works

When you join a ladder, you are ranked and inserted into the upcoming challenge ladder by the ladder director based on your skill level. As you play your matches, you move up or down one position depending upon your prior match results. You play one match per week or in the time frame designated by your director and report your results back on the TennisMatrix.net website. A round-robin format is also available at the director's discretion.
